Our heritage

The original Saab (Ursaab) was built in 1947. This marked the beginning of a proud history of innovations that set the standards for the global automotive industry.

On August 31, 2012, National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB acquired the main assets of the Saab Automobile bankruptcy estates.
