The new plant is under construction and the manufacturing of batteries will start later this year. The capacity will initially amount to 300 million Ah annually. The current manufacturing capacity for the existing plant is 50 million Ah annually.
“The demand for batteries from the existing plant has been very positive, and with our new factory, we will have the capacity to also supply batteries for the electric Saab cars”, says Kai Johan Jiang, owner of Nevs’ parent company National Modern Energy Holdings.
